Suddenly i remember that i have a blog. The last entry was like thousands of years ago... quick update (i know nobody is reading this blog anymore, but i just tot i could write so my own memory, should one day when i am gone, this will stay):
i have completed my practicum 2 at CHIJ SJC a month ago. Now is back in NIE for induction cum enrichment programme. I will be graduating in 2 months' time. i did practicum 1 at Serangoon sec. Mr Koh KT was my sup for both practicum. I am pretty happy that he is my sup as he is realistic and give good advice. Thought he look fierce, but he is just strict as he wants me to do well. I thought life would be difficult to teach in a girls' sch. But i was totally wrong at SJC. The girls were nice and some were thoughtful. I am a slow heater, I do not warm up to students that fast as i couldn't handle how far the relationship can go. I dun wan to be over friendly and in the end lost the stand as a teacher. Regardless, they do no pose big trouble for me. I will work hard and do my very best to teach them.
While i am slacking away at home for these two weeks, i tried to be more proactive in getting ready for my wedding. I know.. can get friends for help, but i have no idea what will happen and my friends are equally clueless like me. Hahaha.. i am a big addict to bride forum, made a few friends there and they provide good advice. I will be going for the trial makeup next wed and the photoshoot is on 15th june. We haven't decide on the location. Somewhere memorable.. hmm.. like TPY indoor stadium where we have tkd grading? i wan to add some tkd into the wedding as this is how we came to know each other. My bridal services is provided by Whitelink. MUA is names Emily. Anyway, will ask if we can wear tkd uniform for the photoshoot. If not, then i will try to add in tkd photo in the montage.
The actual day photographer is simon and videographer is johnny. Meng hwa engaged their services when he got married. They gave a good price. What attracted me was their humor and i felt at ease around them. Hopefully they will not disappoint me.
I am pretty vexed about the guest list. The space is so limited that i have difficulties in deciding who to invite as i have a super big family. I know, close friends... but still got collegues leh? If i dun invite collegues, then maybe things can be less complicated. I dunno la! irritated... see how in sep la..
i bought two pairs of heels to go with the wedding gown and evening gown. Actually i can't wait to see the gowns ready. But i am also afraid that i will see it being worn on others. I know off the rack gowns.. but i just dun wan to see with my own eyes ma..
Well, now with WZNN working at compinte and studying at the same time, finances is going to be bloody tight. I am really hoping that MOE will give out bonuses this july. Otherwise, i seriously cross my fingers and hope that the wedding cost could be covered nicely. I gauge the wedding will cost about 25k.. which about 15k is sure to have from my savings, about 2k has been paid. i wonder if we can really get the other 8k. That amount might be difficult for WZNN esp with the school fees. But i think should be able to get that somehow... maybe borrow from mummy and daddy? Hai.. if times weren't so bad, WZNN could have change job smoother, this headache would not be there.
Anyway, i have decided not to be so bothered, but to change my focus.
